SAVE KPFA - the real LSB election website, not the fraudulent one
Don't be fooled. http://www.savekpfa.ORG is the REAL website of the SAVE KPFA candidates slate for the 2010 Local Station Board election, and is endorsed by a wide array of community and labor activists, academics, and KPFA unpaid and paid staff -- that's ".org" folks.
The website called "savekpfa. NET" was registered by a competing slate, that is trying to fool people into thinking they are who they are not. They are directing traffic to their site in an attempt to mislead you. They are *not* SAVE KPFA.
Sigh. Typical dirty politics. For the back story, see Brian Edward-Tiegert's message here:

"Why you should vote for Save KPFA in the Local Station Board election"
Please visit the REAL Save KPFA site at http://www.savekpfa.org - and remember to vote!
And good luck to all of us trying to save KPFA.

We've been through this. Save KPFA is the name of a group that was organized in 1993. It's not the name of Concerned Listeners, who have stolen it. Apparently because they thought they couldn't win with the name they ran under in 2006, 2007 and 2009 (losing in 2009).
Concerned Listeners is the slate that ran KPFA a million dollars over a budget in less than a year.
The slate that blocked a board investigation into Nadra's Foster arrest/
The slate that supported the de-recognition of the unpaid staff organization.
The slate that opposes a program council.
The slate that objected to firing a manger who reported hundreds of thousands dollars to be in bank accounts where it wasn't.
Their supporters are either ignorant of the facts or dissembling. Nothing is clearer than that KPFA needs to be saved from Save KPFA. By you, the voters. Please don't disappoint us.

As far as I could tell the 2010 SaveKPFA folks look a lot like a retread of the 2009 Concerned Listeners.
There was a SaveKPFA in the late 1990's that actually did save KPFA, but they did not look or act anything like current folks.

The original "Save KPFA" has asked the "Concerned Listeners" to immediately stop using their name.

The original 'Save KPFA' saved the station FROM the Democratic Party hijackers.
The current 'Save KPFA' wants to save it FOR the Democratic Party and for reformist leftism in general, which is why they are supported by many labor bureaucrats. They are also supported by much of the staff, especially paid staff, who want to keep running the station as a private club.

Does anyone really care about these bullshit "factions" that are supposedly trying to "save" KPFA? All these people are doing is wasting valuable time and resources leading to "elections" that get nothing done except more bickering. Is it any wonder that KPFA and other Pacifica stations are in such trouble?
Have they asked SaveKPFA.net to stop using their name as well or is this a one sided request ?
There's no problem with releasing the domain name savekpfa.net back to the real Save KPFA (the '93 version) if the Concerned Listeners release the name.
