Medical Marijuana Rights Activist and Vietnam Veteran Roger Mentch - Denied Supervised OR

by Roger Mentch (rmentch [at] sbcglobal.net)
Judge DelPozzo decides Mentch's fate in Santa Clara County. Both Pre-Trial services and DA recommend Supervised OR. We were trying for OR Judge decides again for $50,000 bail.
But if you were watching, one could believed that the representation for Mentch was that of the prosecution. Mentch is pleading for HELP! I am in need of pro-bono representation that can stand up to this special prosecutor.

After numerous attempts to have my public defender stand up and state that I was no longer in business which he refused to do. After sending paper work to my attorney showing a appeal for state disability. He tells the judge I have a small income. He was fired by me shortly there after.
Prosecuting DA Vanier tells these out right untruths to Judge DelPozzo when he stated that the person I sold a 1/4 once too was arrested Feb 2009. He was not arrested but his medical marijuana was confiscated. Also it looks like a pattern that the prosecution uses is to lie and make false accusations to temporary Judges that only see you for that hearing. This time like an earlier accusation, prosecution tryed to say I was involved in sells of a 1/4 pound to some man. Last time it was an allegation of a connection to some woman that was arrested. These are ALL false allegations!
Below is a quote from my defense attorney.

"Mr. Mentch.

From our hearing this afternoon, it is apparent that the assigned trial
DA has a firm understanding of your prior Supreme Court decision. That
does not bode well. Based on his knowledge, I expect the DA to object to
our possible "Medical MJ Collective" defense."

In reading this I understood my attorney had no clue. I should of represented myself.
