Mehserle - Most Huggable? or a chip off of ol Jim Crow?

Wondering if someone can fill in the blank here.
I read recently that Mehserle got in a fight in high school, but that the facts surrounding that incident weren't allowed into court. I remember reading that it was a latina that he hit or got in a fight with in high school. Also wanting to know if there is more info out there on Mehserle beating up a young black man not long before killing Oscar Grant. I have read something about that and how it wasn't allowed to be talked about in the trial too.

There seems to be a really clear pattern of this guy not liking brown and black folks, but most of the info is gagged or limited by the defense somehow. I figure some folks out there reading this will know this info and fill in the blanks. I think that it is important to share this info as much as possible because of the defenses assertion that Mehserle is so huggable. When in reality it seems that he is not much different than Officer Pirione and other police officers who are clearly racist, and think that they can get away with beating up or even executing a black or brown person. Usually this is the way it works, but hopefully Oscar's murder will help us expose this ongoing pattern of police brutality and murders for what it is. Some crazy Jim Crow pattern that is alive and well in our police depts and justice system today.
