Gossett became a Broadway star at 17 appearing with Sidney Poitier in A Raisin in the Sun. He later won an Emmy for his performance in the Roots miniseries and an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Sgt. Foley in An Officer and a Gentleman.
With a theatre, film, and television career that spans fifty years, Gossett will discuss some of his most memorable experiences as well as his personal efforts to end racism, violence, ignorance, through the work of his Eracism Foundation.
