Hedges is a Senior Fellow at The Nation Institute. In addition to writing for almost twenty years as a New York Times correspondent, Hedges has worked for NPR, The Dallas Morning News and The Christian Science Monitor. He received the 2002 Amnesty International Global Award for Human Rights Journalism.
