Canneries, women’s pay issues, maritime unions by Randy Bradner (City Guide)
Get beyond the tourist trinkets to see a side of Fisherman’s Wharf seldom seen by tourists. Learn about the canning industries, the struggles of maritime & shipping unions and how San Francisco’s Italian fisherman built their community.
