What utter and complete paranoid lunacy. Water fluoridation is one of the best national health initiatives that progressives fought long and hard for against corporate extremists who for decades tried to stop fluoridation as being "too expensive."

Compare the dental health of citizens in regions where water isn't treated against those of cities where the water is, and you'll see why progressives took on the corporate water criminals and forced them to add fluoride to our water.

Fluoridation is asbestos,DDt,lead, tobacco type science. The Fluoride Deception by Chris Bryson details with 200 pages of once secret documents this industry government fraud. Protecting WW2 military contractors and Manhatten nuke project was the only real goal. The real data actually showed calcium and phosphorus in the water were the real benefit and fluoride if anything harmed teeth. Masters and Coplan 1999 dartmouth documented 41% higher blood lead levels in fluoridated(H2SiF6 FSA) cities. They did not exactly know how this happened except FSA is a fantastic lead leacher was known. Maas 2007 Coplan 2007 further documented FSA ability to leach lead but also chlorine increased this ability but the EPA new chloramine is a pure evil lead leacher. If PH is off or expensive corrosion control chemical are not added.
Marc Edwards of Virginia Tech documented Washington DC after Nov 1 2000 switch to chloramine had a lead contamination disaster and extreme corrosion of pipes causing huge damage. This was know immediately but hidden for almost 3 years from the public. Levels hundreds and thousands times over the 15ppb max happened in DC. 25,000 ended up getting freee bottled and filters and every day Warnings from the POST. Never informed were another 100,000 homes without the lead pipes but water just as contaminated.
The CDC rigged the data in a small bias study to prove no harm. In 2009 a real study was done proving this very false as hundreds were lead damaged, kids of course. Much data was claimed lost also by the health department. A high pressure flush and the night before was done to rig fake safe levels for school fountains .
The rushed lead fix actually made it worse of partial laterial replacement of the lead. 100 million later they stopped this poor fix.
You can not trust management at the EPA or CDC as they only promote policy and cover their butts.
This lead issue is reason enough to ban fluoridation harm.
The Varner 1999 and Mulinex data both show neurotoxic effects in rat brains at levels of blood fluoride humans are exposed to currently. The Varner study also showed destroyed kidneys resulting in 80% death before one year in rats. 100% had brain damage and kidney damage but not all died quicly. Russel Blaylock MD researcher also has a paper showing this potential mechanism of CNS damage as fluoride is excellent to transport other neurotoxins past the blood brain barrier. Need more aluminum,lead,mercury in your brain? The aluminum especially mimics g proteins to give false signals to many brain and enzyme functions and burn out neuron connections.
Listen to the 12-0 vote by the NRC to lower the MAX at 4.0ppm. It was not safe in 1983 Surgeons generals panels vote either when it was 2.4ppm.

Most of the world refuses this stupid policy of ingestion of a smokestack toxic waste never tested for safety or benefit. Thousands of claimed studies but not one chronic study yet with the real chemical brew of toxins which vary with every batch but are tested once a year by a non government agency under secrecy not releasing results. Up until the 1930's, fluoride was discharged directly into the air and waterways, causing great damage. Lawsuits were mounting as more and more victims learned that their problems were caused by fluoride poisoning. The industry's response was to change the public's perception of fluoride.

Many 'scientific' studies funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and researched by the Carnegie Mellon Institute were presented to convince the public that fluoride was safe. Lucrative positions were created for 'research' and 'education' with the express purpose of promoting the use of fluoride in toothpaste and in drinking water. 1922 Aluminium production (along with production of toxic by-product sodium fluoride) increases. Aluminium cookware is mass introduced in the US, beginning the gradual accumulation of aluminium in the brains of Americans. Additional aluminum is injected into society in "antacids".

1931 Fluoride in drinking water is found to be the cause of brown teeth - now known as dental fluorosis.

1931 H.Trendley Dean of the U.S. Public Health Service initiates studies on fluorides under the jurisdiction of Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon. Mellon is founder of Alcoa aluminum, who is one of the main suppliers of toxic sodium fluoride as a by-product of aluminium manufacture. He publishes a purposely skewed study showing that, at 1ppm, fluoride results in the reduction of tooth decay.

1937 German manufacturing trials for nerve gas Tabun begin using fluorides.

1938 German chemist Schrader discovers Sarin, 10 times more lethal than Tabun, which is made with various compounds including Sodium Fluoride, which is later dumped into planetary water supplies to placate the population.

1940 Soviet concentration camps maintained by fluoride administration to inmates to decrease resistance to authority and induce physical deteriorization.

1942 Germany becomes world's largest producer of aluminium (and Sodium Fluoride)

1943 Researchers from the US Public Health Service examine the health of residents of Bartlett, Texas to see if the 8ppm fluoride in the drinking water was affecting their health. It was checked again in 1953. They find that the death rate in Bartlett was three times higher than a neighboring town which contained 0.4 ppm fluoride.

1943 The Journal of the American Medical Association on September 18, 1943, states, "fluorides are general protoplasmic poisons, changing the permeability of the cell membrane by inhibiting certain enzymes. The exact mechanism of such actions are obscure. The sources of fluorine intoxication are drinking water containing 1ppm or more of fluorine, fluorine compounds used as insecticidal sprays for fruits and vegetables (cryolite and barium fluoro- silicate) and the mining and conversion of phosphate rock to superphosphate, which is used as a fertiliser. That process alone releases approximately 25,000 tons of pure fluorine into the atmosphere annually."

1944 The city manager of Grand Rapids, Michigan announces that the Michigan State Department of Health is planning a long range experiment with fluoridated water and that Grand Rapids was selected as the location for the experiment. The city commission approves a motion to fluoridate on July 31, and decide it is to begin in January 1945, despite the warning issued three months earlier by the American Dental Association. Grand Rapids becomes the first city in the United States to conduct this experiment. It was to serve as the test city to be compared against un-fluoridated Muskegon for a period of ten years relative to tooth decay, at which time it would be determined whether or not fluoride was "safe and effective." Dr. H. Trendley Dean was put in charge of the project. The experiment was terminated early with the pronouncement that fluorides in public water supplies was "safe". See 1945.

1944 Oscar Ewing is put on the payroll of the Aluminium Company of America (ALCOA), as an attorney, at an annual salary of $750,000. Within a few months, Ewing was made Federal Security Administrator, with the announcement that he was taking a big cut in salary. The US Public Health Service, then a division of the FSA, comes under the command of Ewing , and he begins to vigorously promote fluoridation nationwide. Ref: May 25-27 Hearings before the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce. A by-product of aluminum manufacture is toxic c. Ewings public relations strategist for the fluoride campaign was the nephew of Sigmund Freud, Edward L. Bernays. Bernays conducts a public relations campaign to promote fluorine ingestion by applying Freudian theory to induce public acceptance. It was one of Bernays most successful campaigns.

1945 As a result of government propaganda on fluorides, the ten year Michigan study was terminated after 1 year. The fluoride-free control city, Muskegon, was then fluoridated to conceal any differential between the two cities.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) never approved fluoride ingestion. They were "grandfathered" in before the FDA drug testing laws were enacted.

Only 28.5% of 12- to 14-year-olds were cavity-free in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with 2.6 ppm naturally fluoridated water, 75% had fluorosis, according to a 1948 study ("Fluorine in Drinking Water Its Effect on Dental Caries," by Francis A. Arnold).

The population studied in Colorado Springs was healthy and wealthy, which drew dentists from the East striving to make their own fortune. At the same time, poor residents of Appalachia in the East were losing teeth to decay without any dentist around to treat them which is still the case today.

In another highly unbelievable move, the dentists convinced public health people to experiment with this new fluoride "discovery." They hypothesised that, if natural fluoride (calcium fluoride) in drinking water makes teeth resist decay, let's totally ignore calcium (and the general health of people with great teeth), and see if adding artificial fluoride to a town's water makes any difference or will make people sick.

So they used all the people in a few cities like Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Newburgh, New York, as their guinea pigs. In Newburgh, they added sodium fluoride into the water supply in 1945 and left
Kingston unfluoridated to act as the control. Of course, researchers declared fluoridation a success after only five years, even though the teeth of the children born into the experiment had not even erupted yet. They said fluoride was safe because they examined school children who weren't sick two weeks before the examination date - virtually eliminating the very children who may have been made ill by the fluoride. Adults were never examined for ill effects.

Ten years later, the State University of New York found that children in fluoridated Newburgh had more cortical bone defects and higher rates of hemoglob anemia. Kingston never fluoridated. Recent studies show tooth decay and dental fluorosis is higher in fluoridated Newburgh. And what's even more perverse is that the chemical used to fluoridate your drinking water is an industrial waste product that, along with fluoride, carries lead, arsenic, and other contaminants to a faucet near you. The silicofluorides have never been safety tested in animals or humans. With the American children as
guinea pigs, researchers find that silicofluorides increase children's lead absorption and higher blood lead levels are linked to more tooth decay. And the U.S. National Toxicology Program is just beginning to study silicofluorides for human ingestion some 50 plus years after it's been dumped into most Americans
drinking water.

Other studies link fluoride to bone fractures, lowered IQ, thyroid dysfunction and more. Fluoridation has provided a lucrative sector for researchers to apply for federal grants to study the after
effects of the crazy decision to put fluoride into humans' water supply and then see what happens.

US children are overdosed with fluoride whether rich or poor, healthy or malnourished from various sources. You would think dentists would heed the advice reported in their dental journals - to cut back on fluoride use. But instead dentists are lobbying legislators all over the US to fluoridate more water supplies - even when the people have voted against it. But educated individuals are fighting back. In the past two elections, fluoridation failed miserably in the polls.

And, instead of putting themselves out of business as they once predicted, today’s dentists make much more money than physicians while working less days and less hours. In 2004, one dentist charged $18,000 to cover a 16-year-olds white-laced fluoride-damaged teeth with veneers and caps.

Ironically, African Americans have the most tooth decay and the most dental fluorosis.

Mr Rice if you or your children had Dental Fluorosis I'm sure you would research the topic a little more. I'm 22 years old, lived my entire short life in a fluoridated area of the city. I have moderate dental fluorosis and other health conditions caused by fluoride. I always stayed fit and this increased my water/fluoride intake, which in turn accelerated the poisonous effects of fluoride. I don't eat fast food and don't drink soda but my strive to stay healthy backfired on me thanks to fluoride. Yeah and by the way I have 11 cavities, fluoride is definitely not doing its advertised purpose. So ask yourself why it's really being used, or you already know and support the use of this eugenics tool.

* 97% of Western Europe has chosen fluoride-free water along with Japan, China, and India: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, and Switzerland. European Countries have declared synthetic water fluoridation a public health hazard and removed it after looking at current scientific studies. U.S. Dental organisations promoting water fluoridation still reference outdated studies from the 1970's.

* 110 American cities have removed fluoride from their water supply since 1990. In the last two years dozens of communities in 10 states have rejected water-fluoridation. California, Maine, Massachusetts, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, New York, Vermont, Washington, & Wisconsin.

* According to the World Health Organisation tooth decay rates in European Countries that removed water fluoridation are just as low, and, in fact, often lower than American fluoridated cities.

* Eleven Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unions representing at least 7,000 EPA environmental and public health professionals have spoken out against water fluoridation, calling for a moratorium of fluoridation programs across the country and have asked EPA management to recognize fluoride as posing a serious risk of causing cancer in people.

* Fluoride, a known toxin, is considered more toxic than lead and slightly less toxic than arsenic.

* No scientific double blind studies proving any benefits of water fluoridation have ever been done. The FDA has never tested the fluoride that is being added to our water to ensure its safety or effectiveness. Fluoridated drinking water was “grandfathered” into use by the FDA.

* The product being used to fluoridate Sacramento’s water supply is fluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6). Its composed of tetrafluorosiliciate gas and other species of fluorine gases captured in smokestack pollution scrubbers and concentrated into a 23% solution as a toxic waste by-product from the phosphate fertiliser industry in China. It contains varying levels of lead, mercury, arsenic, uranium, and other heavy metals, with arsenic and lead levels of 50 and 40 milligrams per bag. The product is not "fluorine" or "fluoride". It is a pollution concentrate. Fluorine is only one captured pollutant comprising about 19% of the total product.

* Disposing properly of fluorosilicic acid as a toxic waste costs chemical companies at least $10,000 per truckload and must be dumped at the highest rated toxic waste dump sites. The tanks that store the fluoride must be changed every 5-7 years due to corrosion, which also leaches into public drinking water.

* The CDC provided evidence in 2005 that 32% of American children have dental fluorosis. The yellowing discolouration & mottling of teeth is a visible indicator of fluoride toxicity.

* Water fluoridation is a pharmaceutical medication not prescribed or recommended for adults, solely intended for children at 1 ppm. It's unethical to mass medicate the public by adding drugs, in the form of fluoride, to our drinking water. Mass water fluoridation has taken away our personal freedom and ability to choose for ourselves.
