White Supremacists at Gaza March

by Francisco Sabate Llopart
Watch out for these white supremacists at upcoming Gaza events.
BANA, a small white supremacist group, have been attempting to organize in the Bay Area. Recently, they have participated in anti-immigration demonstrations (including the minutemen counter-protest of the mayday march).

More insidious is their occasional participation in Gaza demonstrations. While they are white nationalists, they are willing to participate in nearly any demonstration against Israel due to their anti-semitic agenda, even if the protest is heavily attended by people of color. They attempt to use these demonstrations as a place to recruit naive young white people who feel alienated by the system but lack a coherent analysis.

Photographs of BANA members Andrew White (Alias Andrew Yeoman) and Parker Wilson are available here http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/05/02/18646549.php

If you see these people, let them know that their racist agenda will not be tolerated on the streets of San Francisco.

they're actually white separatists.....

but yeah, pretty much the same thing.
by --
if they're separatists, you'd think they'd support ethnically determined states for each group. I mean, where do they want the current residents of Israel to all go? Why do they go around saying they're taking the Sf Bay area back for whites, rather than moving to Scotland?

i dont know where they want the residents of isreal do go. they probably have some stupid antisemetic idea.

but about them wanting to take back the bay area for white people... exactlly, their rhetoric isnt that "white people are better than mexican people" or whatever a supremist would say. it's "the USA is a place for white people and mexico is a place for mexican people and there should be no mixing of the two."

i mean, really, i dont care. and i dont doubt that the memebers of bana are a bunch of white supremists. but as an organization they dont seem to be.

"White separatist", and "racialist" are terms commonly used in racist circles as euphemisms for "white supremacist". Most white power organizations aren't going to be so blatant as to tell the media that they are "white supremacists".

In the context of present day america, to be a "white separatist" in a majority non-white city necessitates white supremacy. It's impossible to separate whiteness from its historical legacy in this country, a legacy of institutionalized power, be that power economic or otherwise. How would one make a white homeland in a region so heavily populated by asian, latino, and black people without relying on measures that amount to attacks (be they institutional or otherwise) on people of color?

Supporting a US law that allows police to stop, search, intimidate, arrest, and deport brown people, for instance, is not merely a white separatist platform, but part of a white supremacist agenda, as it encourages power to directly subjugate people of color.

Also, members of BANA have attended several neo-nazi gatherings (such as the annual Allthing gathering, an event organized by the neo-nazi Volksfront group).

FRANCISCO SABATE LLOPART:
Thanks for putting out this news-item about Bay Area National Anarchists.

No matter what these self-proclaimed "tribalists" will tell you if you meet them at a protest, NO REAL ANARCHIST ADVOCATES RACISM, WHITE SUPREMACY OR NATIONALISM IN ANY FUCKING FORM. Ever since their 2007 inception, B.A.N.A. has always functioned as a Third Position Fascist group; meaning: a brand of Fascism that expropriates, mixes and uses the look, the ideas and the terminology of Pagan religion[s], indigenous peoples, radical environmentalism, Communism and even Anarchy to disguise their true racist/pro-segregation agenda. That is what distinguishes them from, say, traditional up-front Fascists like Aryan Nations and any similar groups. Third Position Fascism is presented by its adherents as being "neither left nor right". Examples of such weird Far Right political formations--besides B.A.N.A.--are: National Bolsheviks, England-based International Third Position [ now called England First ] and the American Front [ in the 1990s ]. The walking contradictions that are National Anarchists use "entryism" to bring Fascist values into the anti-globalisation and radical environmentalist movements, all while drawing in more unknowing young people into their ranks.

If history has taught any worthwhile lessons, it has taught us that after the first two ways--Capitalism and Communism--the third position is always Fascism.

Watch out for B.A.N.A. and all similar groups at any protest in northern California.

Let's make this real simple.

White racist: "I think white people are more evolutionarily evolved than other races."

White supremacist: "I think people are better than other races."

White nationalist: "I want white people to have their own country."

White separatist: "I want to live only around other white people."

I sure as hell don't see eye-to-eye with the BANA folks on race issues, but they just ain't junior Klansmen. For God's sake, REAL neo-Nazis hate them.

Moreover, if someone has your same opinion or goals on a given issue (i.e., Israeli genocide of Palestinians kind of bad) what does it matter what they think of other things? There are pro-life, gay-hating Christians against the war, you gonna preach at them til they won't work with you anymore? Tolerance doesn't mean anything if it's only extended to peeople you agree with anyway.
