SPD (Sebastopol) Officer David Ginn Harasses Homeless

by Curtis John Surpless (cjsurpless [at] yahoo.com)
Continued harassment of the poor.
So last night some friends and I went to this church, sat on the steps, and started eating the food that someone from the church had left for us. The pastor and a few others know that we've been sleeping there for a couple of months now. They've left us food, given us money, and have always shown much love. But last night was the first time that any police officer(s) had made a presence (for two months, remember?).

SPD Officer David Ginn and his Gestapo Goon Squad (a total of four officers) approached while we were eating, informing us that we were "Trespassing". He said "This church doesn't want people on the property after hours". He checked our IDs, ran our names, and of course ran his mouth before telling us to move on "at your own leisure". They left after that.

So we laid down and went to sleep, and woke up this morning without a return visit from the SPD.

it seems that after a couple months, you would have found work, gotten a couple pay checks, and gotten a place to live.
in this bad economy, i have two jobs, and have to turn away work.

the church is very gracious to provide for you, but please don't take people's kindness off hand. we all must pull our own weight.

You said that "it seems that after a couple months, you would have found work, gotten a couple pay checks, and gotten a place to live". You know what Steve? FUCK YOU!!!

I happen to be disabled and can't work. I wish I had two fuckin' paychecks and not just one disability check.

You also said "we all must pull our own weight", and you're absolutely right Steve. I hate to say say it again but ... FUCK YOU!!!

I pull my own fuckin' weight until my allotted $929/mth is gone.

Here's my problem:

1. No one wanting a completed rental aggreement will allow me to rent a place because my income isn't three times the amount of the monthly rent. You see Steve, these cocksuckers are asking only $550/mth (everything included), but won't rent to me because my income is less than $1650/mth. Why is that? I'm able to pay the rent.

So I continue living on the streets until I can find somewhere to better "pull" my "own weight".

sorry curt, you just lost a heap of potential allies by using "cocksucker" as derogatory term when applying it to the landlords.

You said "Sorry Curt, you just lost a heap of potential allies by using "cocksucker" as derogatory term when applying it to the landlords".

First of all, I believe that if I wanted to be called 'Curt', I would've been posting my name as just that ... Right? And while we're on that subject, since you've lost me as a potential ally for refering to yourself as the same "derogatory term" I used when applied to landlords ... such as will I now call you 'Cock' for short.

I think the main focus of my original posting, however, was to show that the police are continuing to harass the homeless in Sonoma County, not the fact that I may use slightly offensive terminology when exercising my fucking right to free speech when describing what is happening.

So short-for-'Cock', how's life treating you these days?
