Free Camping ArnieVille Tent-City
Across from the Berkeley Bowl is the little town of ArnieVille. ArnieVille is a temporary settlement for those protesting against cuts to health services and benefits. Bring your tent and sleeping bag, and become a citizen of ArnieVille. Yes there's even a port-a-john. The town will only exist until Thursday, unless enough people show up to keep it going longer.
FREE CAMPING IN BERKELEY!!!

After 5 days ArnieVille has closed down until our next action at the same place l June 22. ArnieVille was a great success and will be an ongoing method of bringing attention to the lunacy coming from Sacramento.
actually, we have no plans to pack up on thursday no matter how few of us are there. On Thursday at noon is a press conference, and we expect that will draw more visitors and campers. FYI, the port-a-john is ADA compliant, and there's even a handwashing station. this is a 5 star campsite! Look forward to seeing you out there.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
