Hundreds gather in the Bayview to vent and formulate plans to address Racial Tensions.

Hundreds gather at the Southeast Facility Building at 1800 Oakdale to address the on going Racial Tensions and the death of homicide victim Chinese American Mr. Huan Zhou Chen at the hands of some misguided African American youth. There is a $100,000 reward and some one out there will be brought to justice.

There was a lot of venting by those that chose to comment and were given two minutes. The refrain from many was that many African Americans have been victims of killings and shootings. However, it had to take for a Chinese American to die - to gather so many people to address Racial Tensions - that is an on going problem.

The Police Chief - George Gascon tried to convince everyone in the room that we all had to work as a community to address the Racial Tensions. Many seemed to agree but there were those that were bent on venting - and spewing their own diatribe - proving once again that some will never, ever get it.

If there is one thing that everyone learned is that the Asian community is much more united then the African American community. So, far four Vigils have been held and a couple of Town Hall meetings. We have never had such a show of unity linked to the many African American deaths - and if tried to hold a vigil - few came out to show support.

The demographics in the Bayview have changed drastically - with Asians being the majority at 39%, African American are a meager 19%, Hispanic make out at 10%, Causasian 25%, other 7%.

The politicians were there and as usual they said much but meant very little. The politician is an animal that has no soul and so these living dead individuals - spew hot air and think they can fool all the people all the time.

The present District 10 Supervisor has left the District in shambles with over 28 candidates one worse then the other - vying to become Supervisor of District 10 and bringing little if no hope to the on going crises.

This City and County of San Francisco has a budget of over $6.8 billion dollars.

The City fleeces the Bayview Hunters Point extracting millions in taxes from the many home owners and thousands of small businesses. The majority of the businesses are operated by Chinese Americans.

The City and County of San Francisco and Mayor Gavin Newsom have failed to provide services to the immigrants be they Latino, Chinese, others - and this is crime.

The innocent mainly Chinese American are spat on the MUNI buses and no one lifts a finger.
Hundreds of Chinese Americans are robbed, assaulted, and Law Enforcement has not taken the required measures to stem this unwanted crime.

Now, the boiling point has been reached with beating that have led to the death of Mr. Huan Zhoul Chen. A decent man, who was educated and loved to write and read poems. He traveled places with his son who lives in Florida and was well respected by the Chinese community at large in San Francisco.

This City does not care that we have over 6000 juveniles that are truants. It does not care that thousands of youth "crash" and do not have a roof under their heads. It does not care that many juveniles live day to day - and have to scrounge to get food and get by. And all this in one of the richest Cities in the world.

This summer City College will close its doors to the annual Summer Classes. The youth that used to be provide with Summer Opportunities be is jobs or other internships - will have less of that and more time on their hands - for mischief and getting into trouble.

Many called this meeting to address Racial Tension - a history making day. Hopefully, one that will bring about change and save lives all over San Francisco. Give a new meaning to Unity and Safety. Bring communities together and take us all to a better place.
