Mayor Newsom is responsible for the violence perpetrated on innocent Asian Americans in SF
In January 2010 an American Chinese man was assaulted at a Third Street Lightrail hub. He succumbed to his injuries in April. Some of us organized a vigil and the Mayor was no where to be seen. Nor were the many folks that Mayor Gavin Newsom gathered mostly lackeys at City Hall recently - who will jump on any bandwagon to gain their five minutes of fame. I did not see the Mayor at the Human Rights Commission meeting held in China town. There were other focused meetings and the Mayor was no where to be found.
This City and County of San Francisco should be proud that we have a diverse community. We should also be proud, that for most part - all of us from the various ethnic groups have learned to be friends. Share in our common humanity. The many Russians, Chinese, Latinos, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, Asians, Blacks, Whites - others.
Personally, I have always enjoyed the company of the many African Americans that I know and count as my friends. I can say that of Chinese American and Asians as a whole too. I have a special relations with Polynesians and I speak for the Muwekma Ohlone, the first people of San Francisco. Aho.
This City and County of San Francisco under Mayor Gavin Newsom has divided the community. He has done so with people like Dwayne Jones who has been used to divide the community in the Bayview Hunters Point. The Mayor chose folks to come to the meeting to address this communal strife - but did not inform those that know about the actual facts at ground zero.
This Mayor Gavin Newsom is pushing for Gentrification - and in doing so causing communal strife.
I have been watching him like a hawk and this man is a trouble maker.
Mayor Gavin Newsom should be ashamed of himself and he should also be ashamed of his drab SF City Neighborhood aides that work for him but have little to show in terms of outreach and helping the Asians. Mayor Gavin Newsom has no clue that the demographics of the Portola District, Visitation Valley and the Bayview has changed - drastically. Asians comprise the majority in Visitation Valley, the Portola District, and the Bayview in large measure. Services offered them are the least. Go figure!
Mayor Gavin Newsom may not believe it but the majority of the constituents that pay their taxes are Chinese Americans in all of the above areas. Besides the majority of the businesses are owned by Chinese American and they all pay huge taxes and get few benefits.
The Mayor must afford the Chinese Americans some resources and the Mayor has not offered them anything much. You can contact Marlane Tran from Visitation Valley and ask her and if some one contacts me I can take them to the people that really know - what is really happening at ground zero.
Joe Marshal is the Mayor's lackey. No one worth the salt trusts him in the Bayview. He is a second Dwayne Jones. And when Ed Lee makes statement they are as dry as can be - I have never seen him walk the streets of the Portola District, Visitation Valley, or the Bayview Hunters Point. Ed do not pander to the Mayor - the Mayor is a jerk.
In April we did have a Vigil. I helped facilitate it and set the tone. Archbishop Franzo King, Pastor Alex Toeaina, Rev Fong from China town, Rev McGray did a good job. Each of these men of God - spoke from the heart and all those gathered some 300 plus on 3rd Street and Palou - felt deeply this was a good start.
The many other speakers Chinese American, African American, Latino, Polynesians others - all expressed genuine sorrow for the elderly Chinese American who died. His wife supporters from All Hallows were present and you can see them in the photographs at the end of this article.
I attended the meeting in China Town - David Chiu came late so did Carmen Chu. As I said the Mayor was not there at all. This Mayor is full of crap and loves Spin and Media only to highlight himself,his ploys and machinations.
A number of Chinese American journalists have contacted me and I have spoken to them. A number of English journalists have contacted me and I referred them to others. The reason is simple I do not trust them. The Main Media has been low to understand the plight of those that work hard to earn their living - immigrants be they Latino, Russian, or Chinese. People pay taxes and daily they live in fear. This is happening in San Francisco.
The Mayor has no clue how many assaults, robberies, thefts, break-ins, innocent people being spat on in the MUNI buses, insulted verbally have been perpetrated on innocent people. Among them mostly Chinese Americans. The other immigrant communities will fight back and I have seen this with my own eyes. Mayor Gavin Newsom must resign and this would have happened in any civilized society. But, this jerk Newsom - will go on living and go on jerking. Pathetic.
There are many Chinese Americans living in fear. But, there are others ready to strike. You heard the refrain at the SF Board of Supervisors. Some even called the Chinese American Supervisors - David Chiu, Carmen Chu, and Eric Mar - chicken.
I know the leaders and I have cautioned them using violence - because this does no one no good. However, all the leaders must step in San Francisco - named after Saint Francis Assisi. A man of compassion.
This frustration - putting down of the American Chinese who work hard and their children study hard - has now reached a boiling point. I have gone out of my way to listen and to offer solutions. Mayor Gavin Newsom has been pussy footing - and consulting Cecil Williams and other cronies to come to the table to spew a lot of hot air and nothing more. None of these folks can walk the walk - but they can surely talk the talk.
The times have changed and what is now happening is that people are fed up with Mayor Gavin Newsom and his antics. If you tow the line like Dwayne Jones does the Mayor panders to you, if you tell him the TRUTH like I do - he will not like it. He is a little brat.
The City Neighborhood Services must do something - we have a $6.8 billion dollar budget. The Community Relations Networks and the other entities put in place to prevent crime - is NOT being funded in large measure.
We have 6000 truants mostly African American youth on the streets of San Francisco. The African American youth mostly come from families with single mothers. If you look closely at those African American youth - you will find out there is no Father figure and the mother is on drugs and may be involved with other nefarious activities. Does Mayor Gavin Newsom care?
There are thousands of African American youth that do not live at home - but crash anyone where they can. Does Mayor Gavin Newsom give a rat ass?
In recent months you see hoards of SF Police walking in groups as if they are on a field trip. Enough of this nonsense. All we need are SF Police Officers stationed at the key Lightrail hubs on Third Street Williams, Oakdale, Evans, and maybe one of two more. Then we need some officers inside the Third Street Light Rail trains - going back and forth between Arleta and Mission Bay - back and forth - more, from say 7 am to 10 am and then 1 pm to 5 pm.
After 5 pm we need patrols - come 6 pm there is no one to be found. I saw one Chinese American afraid when some asked him something in English and I had to convince him that all was right. The Evans, Oakdale, Williams Lightrail hubs are the ones where the "thugs" focus and prey on the victims.
In Visitation Valley we need the SF Police Department patrol Leyland Street and visit the merchants and ask them for suggestions. How many of the merchants did Mayor Gavin Newsom invite to his fake community meeting at City Hall to address the current racial violence - none?
The same on San Bruno Avenue and we need to have SF Police on the MUNI 9 and 9 L during rush hours. Again the SF Police Department must talk to the merchants and find out what is happening.
I was at the Police Commission held at Grace Lutheran Church. I did not see the Mayor there. The District Supervisor Sophie Maxwell came late and did not speak. She came late at the Vigil held at 3rd and Palou and did not speak. On the steps of City Hall she was not allowed to speak on May 6, 2010. She is a pathetic failure. She has done nothing to stop the Black on Black violence - and is more White then Black as far as her mentality is concerned.
Recently the woman visited China - I hope she learned something - but as far as soothing Racial Tensions - Sophie Maxwell has been an abject, failure.
There are many good people that will not pander to the Mayor of San Francisco. I will not pander to Mayor Newsom - the man is immoral and has no standards. He surrounds himself with security but does not offer security nor focused comfort to those that are elderly, vulnerable and seek help. As I said before - the man is a jerk - not to be trusted.
To my friends from all the communities we must gather and talk. Come out with our plan and not bother to waste our time with the SF Board of Supervisors and the Mayor. You can prove your power with your VOTE. Do not vote any JERKS that are now sitting in City Hall - in.

I am good friends with Captain Gregory Suhr from the Bayview Station and he has cooperated with me and the community. I am friends with Commander Morris Trabak and he will offer his support. Others too many to name.
We have a good Officer on San Bruno Avnue in Officer Percy and one on Third Street in Officer Singh. There are others and I am not afraid to greet them and state to them the situation at hand.
Those of us that speak English must learn some greetings in Chinese and break the ice. Learn some Spanish and make some friends. To my Chinese American friends - we must learn that in America we must learn English - and greet one another. Do not be afraid to consult your local neighborhood leaders and ask for help and support.
Town Hall meeting are good. Time for change in the Bayview Hunters Point - we need someone that represents and represents everyone. We do not want some one like Sophie Maxwell - who makes deals and is on the take.
Do not trust this Mayor, Gavin Newsom he talks the talk but cannot and will not walk the walk.
The Chinese leaders mostly in China Town know me and I am going to send this article to you all. I will also send it to some Chinese Newspapers so that they really know how I feel about this situation. My sentiments are just the tip of the iceberg. God Bless You All.
