May day in San Francisco 2010
In one of the largest protest gatherings in recent San Francisco history, several thousand people marched down mission street to the Civic center to protest the recent Arizona legislation directed at un-documented immigrants. May Day, being the traditional labor day, many unions also came out to celebrate the workers holiday and spotlight other issues. The laborer's Union led the march.
A rally was held first at the 24th and Mission Plaza.
Anger was directed at Arizona governor Jan Brewer for signing SB 1070
