New Addition: Poema Para Pachamama/Poem for Mother Earth has just added an impromptu Poetas POBRE's Poetry Workshop While Sitting With and Lying on Pachamama in the Mission -Saturday, April 24th @ 2-3:30pm on the calles in front of 1156 Florida street (between 23rd & 24th streets in the Mission)- this event is in solidarity with Sidewalks Are For People Action against the criminalization of all peoples.

Heal Mother Earth With Your Words, Art, Stories, Music and Prayers

Indigenous Youth, Adult and Elder Poets, Artists, Singers and Story-tellers from Poetas POBREs/Po Poets Project and POOR Magazine’s Indigenous Peoples Media Project will present an afternoon of bi-lingual performance and action to Heal Mother Earth

Poets, Artists, Musicians and Story–tellers of all ages in the are welcome to join the community healing ceremony.

Donation $5 ( or whatever you can afford) All proceeds benefit POOR Magazine’s PeopleSkool/Escuela de la gente
