Free event by the Bay Area Funeral Society.
Bay Area Funeral Society came out of the Berkeley Co-op movement to stop predatory practices by the funeral industry. Its goal is to educate people about their burial and cremation options. They provide infomation about traditional, economical, green, and/or home funerals.

At this presentation learn facts and save money: embalming is not required by law. The law does not require you to buy a casket vault. You do not need to rent or buy a casket for cremation. You are entitled to an itemized price list.
