Confused about corporate person-hood? Or maybe enraged? Not totally clear about what the recent supreme court decision means to us? Want to learn more about the history of corporations as people in our nation?

Come meet with Dr. Riki Ott Tuesday evening April 13th, 6:30pm at Mudraker's Cafe, 2801 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley in the back room.

Dr. Riki Ott, community activist, brilliant law historian, as well as marine toxicologist with a specialty in oil pollution, is here visiting from Alaska - she also witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of the Valdez oil spill and then the aggressive actions of Exxon resulting in impunity.

She will talk with us especially about corporate "person-hood" and the grassroots movement for a constitutional amendment* to deny corporations "person-hood", i.e. separation of corporation and state.

PLEASE RSVP if you can 510-540-7007 or just BE THERE!

* Check out http://www.movetoamend.org for more info and the calendar at http://www.bayareacodepink.org

p.s. Berkeley City Council will have a resolution for this amendment on the April 27th meeting! Bring signs! Mark your calendars!
