Join CUAV and El/La Program Para TransLatinas to wrap up SAFETYFEST 2010 with a fierce and tender afternoon of music, food, dancing, and runway.

Dazzling performances from your favorite queer and trans rockstars, delicious edible delights, glamorous prizes, and a chance to get your picture snapped and strut your stuff on the catwalk. Parents and kids are invited to take a load off in the Family Space.

**WHAT IS SAFETYFEST 2010?**

Safetyfest 2010 is CUAV's first annual celebration of queer and trans power in the Bay Area--it will all kick off with a steamy Oakland launch party hosted and curated by Mangos with Chili on Thursday, April 8th from 7-10pm at Bench & Bar in Downtown Oakland, followed by a week of free workshops, art, and meet-ups, and wrap up with a FIERCE SF closing celebration co-sponsored by El/La Program Para TransLatinas on Sunday, April 18th from 4-8pm at SOMArts.
