Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Project put on fast track sans ACCOUNTABILITY.

Thursday, March 25, 2010 a few stalwart community advocated were present to speak at the San Francisco Planning meeting - the meeting was to begin at 6:30 pm but the SF Planning Commission was wasting its time on other issues of lesser importance - hold the audience hostage until late at night - passed 10:30 pm when some of us - were kept waiting and then given a measly two minutes to speak on the ploys and machinations linked to this so called Initiation Process - that in my subjective opinion was an insult to the community.

As usual LENNAR had brought in their hired guns - some from the Alice Griffith Public Housing that speak and confuse the real issues at hand.

No one is against sound development and jobs. What some of us "educated on issues" and monitoring this process for years - I from 1998 - desire, is a sound project with mitigation and abatement of a Superfund Site - where Depleted Uranium was first tested.

Where thousands of huge animals were radiated and buried. Where the United States Navy chose to bury hundred of very toxic materials - and is now dragging its feet to clean up the entire Hunters Point Shipyard - to the highest standard as mandated in Proposition P - voted by 87% of all San Franciscans.

95% of Hunters Point Shipyard is POOR landfill. Most of Candlestick Point is poor landfill and much of it was a Garbage Site - at least that part that is now the Candlestick Park - the 23 acres stolen from the Public - Public Trust Land by Senate Bill 792 initiated by corrupt California Senator Mark Leno.

The City and County has on its books the Precautionary Principle - but NOT once has the SF Planning Commission mentioned it - because most of them have not read it and in their ignorance are talking about other standards - while overlooking the Precautionary Principle adopted a long time ago by the City and County of San Francisco and on the City's books.

You had Tiffany Bohee lying about having 200 meetings in the community. I knew Tiffany Bohee where she worked as a peon for the SF Public Utilities Commission and now suddenly she is replacing Michael Cohen who I have know since he first came to San Francisco to work for the City - but this constant lying - is not going to help anyone. Tiffany is a chronic liar and if she does not stop lying in public - then, I will be forced to call her out in public.

Fast tracking any huge development has it consequences. Those of us that followed Mission Bay - know about the many faults in the planning and poor infrastructure and other pertinent aspects of sound planning that were NOT followed that is now coming to haunt those that operated Mission Bay and its various smaller developments.

It is critical that the planning of Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick have full Transparency and Accountability. This is not happening with the plan and fake maps that were produced in the Draft, EIR to the Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point, faulty data on Transportation, other pertinent aspects treated in a shoddy manner - does not help a wee bit.

The SF Planning Commissioners in toto are not fully familiar with Form Based Planning for example.

There is not one single large site in San Francisco that has followed this model. At best there have been some Hybrid Models followed - in small areas with no available data available in detail how these areas and development have contributed to the progress of San Francisco in the short and long run.

LENNAR continues to pay people to come and speak and most of them do that more because of the money and less because they are educated on issues. Even less because they care about Quality of Life issues that most decent San Franciscans embrace - the health and welfare of the constituents of San Francisco.

There are other so called leaders when called upon to represent the community - are busy discussing other mundane stuff and issues that they have NO control over.

The Pacific Height Mafia is involved with the ploys and machinations are are in bed with corrupt Representatives such as Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, Richard Blum and so on. These so called political heavy hitters want land - it is all about land.

No one wants to bend backwards to help the Blacks and other people of color.

Believe me I know that - having worked and monitored these crooks for a long time. I served three Generals in the Army and have worked with many organizations where I have heard, debated, and trounced these vermin that despise poor people and those that need help.

San Francisco is a RACIST city and those that think it is not - are poorer for that.

Large areas are out there in the Bayview Hunters Point and Candlestick Point that are toxic. There are mandates to clean the areas and do the right abatement and mitigation. Crooked folks want to CAP the land and fast track the PLANNING process.

Force us, the very few that read all the documents, to review thousands of pages in a few weeks. Dump tons of information and try to confuse us.

I am glad the public exposed the crooks yesterday - that is the Mayor's Office of Economic Development and the planners that work both for SF Planning and the SF Redevelopment Agency.

No one can fool all the people all the time.
