*The Zapatista Bases of Support Are Not Alone!*

March 20th: National and International Day of Action in Support and
Solidarity with the Zapatista base communties

To all the compañer@s of La Otra Campaña
To all the compañer@s of the Zezta International

For many months the aggressions and threats against the zapatista
communities in Chiapas have increased. This includes the following: The
stupid declarations falsely made by the state government stating that
the Good Government Councils have solicited recognition from the state
congress. The aggressions against the Zapatista community in Laguna de
San Pedro, which had already been displaced from its home community, in
which all three levels of the bad government participated. And the
aggressions by the bad government which used the paramilitary group
OPPDIC and the state and municipal police to attack the communities in
Bolón Ajaw. And now, the OPPDIC have also threatened to displace the
compañer@sin Santo Domingo, Casa Blanca.

In this context of physical assaults by the bad government, many other
people have unscrupulously declared that the aggressions have come from
the Zapatista Bases of Support and the EZLN, contributing to the
construction of a scenario of military intervention with grave
consequences for our people. All in the service of the fat cats
interested in taking the lands and natural resources in Chiapas to
create money-making tourist projects which displace and remove the
indigenous peoples, who are the rightful owners of that land.

Because of this, we call for a united effort, in whatever forms and ways
you have, to raise our voices in support and solidarity with the
Zapatista Bases of Support and the people and ejidos of Chiapas, to
confront the paramilitary offensive of the bad governments and the
ruling class of Mexico. Let's carry out these decentralized national and
international efforts and actions on March 20th to loudly declare:

THE ZAPATISTAS ARE NOT ALONE!!!
