“I SPEAK TO JUDGE CRIMES OF FILIATION
as hard sky spent cancelled horizon
my own mouth barking perhaps I am
unmentionable ticking against the
dark adjacency of prose lovely home
of gods and punctuation I say this
against the long and burning hills in the
slatey cold of debt”
—Lisa Robertson, Debbie: An Epic

A poetry reading by one of Canada's most lauded contemporary poets, Lisa Robertson, as well as a release party for the 4th issue of the local poetry zine With + Stand, which is dedicated to LR's work. It's a COMPLETELY FREE event, where people can pick up the COMPLETELY FREE journal, spraypainted and numbered by hand in a limited edition of 200. And it's a rare opportunity to spend some time in the amazing Urban Ore Ecopark after hours.

With + Stand is thrilled to announce the publication of its fourth issue, devoted to the work of the great poet of materials and magenta, Lisa Robertson. Featuring essays and poetry by Stephanie Young, Scott Sweeney, Dan Thomas-Glass, Brian Ang, Anne Lesley Selcer, Alli Warren, Erika Staiti, Michael Marcinowski, Brian Mornar, Melissa Mack, Charles Legere, Jamey Jones, Richard Meier, Sam Lohmann, Allyssa Wolf, Sara Marcus, and Phoebe Wayne, as well as new work by Lisa Robertson.

Sunday, March 21st, 7-9pm
Urban Ore EcoPark
900 Murray St
Berkeley, CA
The reading, like the journal, is free.
