Celebrate International Women’s Day with a rousing discussion on the key role of education in the fight for women’s liberation and the importance of the leadership of women and people of color in this struggle. Collaborate with others on how to stop the cutbacks, fee hikes, and layoffs through radical action. The event will feature a panel with feminist activists: Marika Goodrich, UC Berkeley student; Francis Mead, Student Unity and Power, San Francisco; Karla Reyes, San Jose State student and immigrant rights advocate; Nancy Reiko Kato, UC Berkeley staff worker, member of UPTE and Radical Women. Performance by dynamic female MC, Aima the Dreamer.

Door donation $3-5, no one turned away for lack of funds. Delicious Middle-Eastern snack plates available for sale for $5. All proceeds benefit Bay Area Radical Women. Work exchanges available. Wheelchair accessible. Everyone welcome!
