What will the Reformers at SEIU 1021 do about the ongoing labor disputes at Tenderloin Housing Clinic/ Shop Steward Nate Holmes and other workers who are being terminated by Shaw's unfair way of dealing with workers and the poor representation that we get here at THC. It's a shame that we let Shaw get away with treating us as though we have no rights except for the ones he gives us. Nate has been away from here close to two years and no one- absolutely no one -will tell us what is happening with this Brother and his case. Shaw however continues to brag about persons being elected to positions of so-called authority that work at THC where he is the executive director. I have been here at THC for five years and most of my co-workers have been fired and not represented properly. We really need good leaders at THC and not bootlickers for Randy Shaw.

Looking forward to better representation and education about issues in the workplace. Stop letting Randy Shaw run our union, show some leadership in giving us a voice in workplace.

Nate Holmes is currently in federal court with Randy Shaw over this/these firing issues with the union, and there's only so much he can say publicly, so not to jeopardize the case

But Nate was pleasantly surprised about this post, and I'll post this on my blog as well, although we're not sure exactly what it is...some kind of action?
