We also spoke with Marla about Olympic Resistance in the classroom, where Canadian school kids got a mouth full of flags and competition, corporate sponsored goodies, and of course education funding cuts.

ORN volunteers put together a critical curriculum and found their way into classrooms to talk with local kids about what they'd like to see money spent on in their communities and what projects they'd like to see prioritized, and what local communities are "getting" out of the Olympics.
