Please try to come to the corner of University Ave and Shattuck tonite at 5:00pm. Wear white, bring signs, chalk, coffins. Or just BE THERE!
We will vigil tonite for the hour before the MMMEG, which starts at 6pm.
And at the MMMEG we will decide what action we will take tomorrow and the upcoming days to decry this travesty that is escalating against the people of Afghanistan and our soldiers - and subsequently, our world.
The military is warning US deaths will be up to 500 per month by this summer. If they think our forces are going to suffer such losses, especially with the increased reliance on drones, what do they imagine will be happening to the people of Afghanistan? Over 1 million dead as we have left the people of Iraq?
