Why Do Corporations Have Personhood?
Corporations have been given the rights of "we the people" by the Supreme Court and so are allowed to play a major role in our elections - usurping the rights of we the people. It's time to fight back - join Women's International League for Peace and Freedom's Campaign to Rescue Democracy.
If you wonder why the Supreme Court recently decided that corporations should have unfettered use of their money to influence our elections, and if you feel corporations already carry more weight in our politics than you do – you may want to view these two short videos on You Tube. They explain how corporations gained personhood and the ramifications it has had on our democracy.
