A tour of Wheeler Hall during the first night of Live Week. This video was shot around 12:30 a.m., shortly after the police guards on the doors decided to let everyone come and go as they please.
8:49 PM
We won Wheeler Hall for the night! Come participate, many activities.

9:18 PM
We have successfully negotiated with the cops. We have the main room at this moment (9:12). We are still not sure if they are going to make a fuss about having the building for 24 hours. 10 pm will be the deciding factor, we need as many ppl here by 10. Tons of ppl studying, and hot warm food just arrived.

Liberating our spaces, step 1 to our open university!!!

The students successfully negotiate an open door. Everyone can now come and go as they please.

In these kinds of "occupation" type settings, they often let you "blow of steam" for oen night, and then come in around 5am and arrest you all. Don't let your guard down. Eternal vigilance is very important. Viva Live Week! May education be for everyone not a privileged few.

Awesome work folks. Keep putting the word out far and wide for support and keep updating folks on the situation. For people interested in helping this type of direct action spread, come out to SF State Wed morning at 7am to show the CSU's that we're coming for them too!! Escalate! Escalate! Escalate!
