Human Rights Day. The Human Rights Day event in Fresno is going to focus on housing as a human right. The thousands of foreclosed, abandoned, bank owned houses in Fresno are a testimony to the failed economic and political system that puts the interest of corporations and the wealthy above people’s needs. We will demand a change that will put the thousands of homeless people on the streets of Fresno into the housing that is available. This event will take place at the Pam Kincaid Neighborhood Center, 1026 Mariposa Street in west Fresno where we will present a map of foreclosed, abandoned, bank owned houses in Fresno and make a modest proposal about how we can end homelessness.
