Citzens arrest and mass disruption of former Israeli PM Ehud Olmert in San Francisco

Are people still in jail? Is solidarity nedded?

I did not see any reporting of this on the SF Chronicle's website or the Oakland Tribune's website. You would think with 22 people being arrested by the SFPD, the papers and the rest of the news media would cover the story. This is what you call censorship!

Exemplary work at all levels:

1) folks inside were clear and loud
2) rally outside looked interesting and creative
3) very good video work inside and out

P.S. if someone can post what the citations given to the arrestees are, it would help people evaluate risk levels for future actions and give the rest of us an idea of what we can expect when the next war criminal comes to town and we follow your example.

You are the tip of the iceberg, representing the thousands of us who could not be there either due to time or distance constraints or having to work in occupations where Zionists predominate and will not hesitate to fire us immediately if we express any sympathy toward Palestinians (we say nothing at all about the Middle East on the job; in my case, people are lucky to hear me comment on the weather). The disgrace Israel is to humanity in general and to people of Jewish ancestry in particular, whether we believe in the superstition or not (in anti-Semitic USA, we are all considered Jewish by the average person) must be protested loudly and clearly wherever possible. The capitalist press did not report this large number of arrests at a first class hotel protesting a darling of US imperialism because the US and Israel are one united war machine and the capitalist press is their propaganda mouthpiece. Of course, calling Olmert a war criminal is the same as calling the entire US government a war criminal, which it is, as both the Democrats and Republicans are 100% for their little military base to protect US oil profits in the Middle East, namely the theocratic, racist hellhole called Israel. Democrat Obama, the current war criminal president, the same as the previous war criminal president Republican Bush, is not just a war criminal because he murders the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan, but also because he supports Israel and always has as that is how he is allowed to run as a Democrat (and likewise for the Republicans). If you want people in office who support the Palestinian liberation struggle, you must vote Peace & Freedom or Green.
