Announcing the launch of primatelabs.com, a resource for animal activists

This is a very useful resource for activists, and currently boasts a list of all known laboratories in the United States that deal in primate experimentation. The site speaks for itself:

thanks for doing this, but i think you failed to be as security conscious as you could have.

whenever a new activist website comes up it's always good to see how easy it is to get info on the people running it. For their own safety.

The first step is to go to the whois info: http://whois.org/ and search the site, In regards to primatelabs.com we get this:

good so far, no actual name or address. But what about that phone number? a quick google search of the number shows this link:

it's from the utah animal rights coalition, it's their email logs which most activists would want to keep under at least a password. This is a list of all the major activists in the area. If i were a law enforcement officer, i would go for this first. It's also sent out by PETA which seems to have no regard for activist safety if they are willingly emailing lists like these around the country.
