PeaceNovato meeting,
Call for details. Discussion will include working out logistics to meet for the World March for Peace and Nonviolence being held on 10/2. Peace Novato will be holding its final peace vigil for the summer season at the Farmers Market on September 22, Fall/Winter vigils will begin once a month in October. PeaceNovato is also continuing their Crane Remembrance Project. Instructions in crane folding will be given to newcomers who’d like to participate. In remembrance of American lives lost too soon in the Iraqi war, the cranes are displayed and carried by volunteers at various marches/events including Novato’s Fourth of July Parade.
