Granny Essie led the Raging Granny caravan from Santa Clara to Los Gatos for a second Town Hall sponsored by US Congressman Mike Honda late this afternoon.
Grannies reported: One annoying man in a suit pestered people lined up to enter the town hall who were clearly in support of health care reform. The Grannies sang to him: *Shoe Fly Don't Bother Me* and led the queue in some Raging Granny Single Payer Songs.
The same man bothered people as they lined up to ask questions within the auditorium and was summarily removed by security, bringing up a cheer from those who had come to hear the Congressman and ask questions.
Later, as Honda's supportive listeners exited the building after the event, about 100 "Tea Party Patriots" stood outside the doors of the building and shouted at the attendees, waving flags and referring to themselves as "real Americans". Local police made them move so as not to block the peaceful exit of Single Payer and health care reform proponents.

Did the Congressman actually answer questions on the health care issue? If so what did he say? Why don't they take the uninsured people and run them through the VA or Medicare since thouse government agencies already exist. My biggest fear, as a voter, is another big government agency that does little but create more problems.
After hearing about numerous town hall meetings around the country, I feel the Democrats are headed down the wrong path. Health care is certainly an important issue. During the last 7 plus months, since President Obama took office, the employment situation has certain gone in the wrong direction. The Democrats have also been running Congress since early 2007, and with a new President you need to address the unemployment situation. We all know, voters generally vote there pocket book-and right now the Republicans could easily assume control of Congress next year. As a voter for change, I don't like the change I have seen. The Democrats need to get to work producing good well paying jobs. Since January, I'm sure we have had a net loss of 5 million jobs-this effect everything. The people inability to earn a living, paying taxes and spending money. Right now, Democrats in Congress seem more interested in producing a health care bill then getting Americans back to work.
Sadly the town hall meeting that was hastily thrown together by Honda was to benefit the Unions not Honda's constituent members. When you arrived for the meeting their were a lot of pre organized ofa's (Barrack Children) their. Honda was frighten by angry voters demanding accountability so he hid behind the Unions and Ofa's (barracks children). When you entered the meeting there was a projector playing some union message about supporting the Government takover of medical coverage. Then there was a film by Honda explaining the same. Essentially the Unions and Ofa's (Barrack Children) gave Honda a lot of money and told him to shut up and say exactly what they wanted him to say. Not surprising. Remember Mike Honda supported giving tax payer money to Acorn after it was shown supporting prostitution and under age girls for prostitution. Mike Honda is simply another ethically bankrupt individual who sales himself to the highest bidder. Sad
