Just back from a post-election trip to Kabul, author Norman Solomon will describe what he saw as part of an independent delegation to Afghanistan
Wednesday, September 9th at 7pm at The Redwoods, 40 Camino Alto in Mill Valley. Co-sponsored by Democracy for America-Marin, Progressive Democrats of Marin and Seniors for Peace, the meeting is free and wheelchair accessible.
Norman Solomon, author of War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death and Co-Chair, National Healthcare NOT Warfare Campaign, will speak about efforts to develop unfiltered channels of communication between Afghanistan and the United States to increase public and Congressional understanding of the complexities and options ahead.
