Exposition of the Heart

Exposition of the Heart, directed and choreographed by Folawole, in collaboration with the Women’s building brings together the stories of female and male characters, whose experiences are personally individual and commonly resonant. Breaking the cycle of violence will be explored through a mixture of solos, duets and group dances. This performance will bridge new choreography and improvisation with masterful artists using a warm yet innovative approach to deepening audience engagement. Exposition of the Heart is dedicated to the passing of a radiant heart and friend, Ashley Taylor.
