"Open Eyes, Queer Film Night" takes place the first Friday of each month at the Femina Potens Art Gallery. This month our film night is celebrating the theme of artistic collaboration.
Host Stephanie Yang will guide you through our captivating feature films "Lucha", and "Getting Off". "Lucha" by filmmakers Maria Breaux and Tina D'elia, powerfully presents the story of two women in the midst of El Salvador's civil war. Meliza Bananles and Jeanette Aguilar teamed up to create our other featured film of the night, "Getting Off," which chronicles the tragic disappearance of a boi's missing orgasm held hostage by a revolutionary, radical sex group.
Film starts at 8pm
Doors open at 7:30
Femina Potens Art Gallery
$20 pp/ 2 for $25 ($5/open mic performers)
