Aug 5 Rally for Williams Family Taser-Police Brutality Victims

KPFA, 6 p.m., 8/6/09, had a good report on the rally at the Albany City Council, Wednesday night, August 5, 2009 in support of the Williams family who were in a car stopped by police, the husband-father-driver was tasered many times for no reason whatsoever except racism, the wife was sexually molested, and both were falsely arrested, while the screaming children were picked up by their grandmother.

The father has a preliminary hearing in Alameda County on Monday, August 10, 2009. Find out where it is from the Alameda County court system and be there if you can. Pack the courtroom, demand the charges be dropped. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL FOR ANYONE TO HAVE TASERS AS THEY ARE LETHAL, TORTURE WEAPONS. The Williams family has filed a complaint and I HOPE THEY SUE THE CITY OF ALBANY AND ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
