California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA) sponsored a demo in front of California Democratic Congressman Pete Stark's office in Fremont on July 30. Celebrating the 44th anniversary of Medicare with a birthday party theme, members of CARA and other activists demonstrated with an "Octopus of Evils" and a birthday cake.

The problem that is stopping full blown medicare is that the Militaries are waging agressive war and causing diseases globally. That is opposite funding and causes medicare to suffler and the single payer cause to be dismissed.
