Come on out and learn what your rights are when dealing with police and authorities of many stripes! Learn things like what the three stages of interactions with cops are:

Consensual Conversation
Detention
Arrest

Learn what standard is required of police in order to engage you in any of these three levels of interaction:

Any Reason or No Reason
Reasonable Suspicion
Probable Cause

Learn when the police have a right to search you, your residence, or your belongings.

Learn what things you can say that will often stop police from interacting with you further, questioning you, or from searching you.

Learn some magic words that the police will recognize as a sign that you know your rights, things like:

"Am I being detained?"
"Am I free to go?"
" I do not consent to a search."
"I am going to remain silent, I want to speak to an attorney."

Our workshop lasts about 45 minutes and could save you and people you know countless hours (or worse) of needless harrasment, intimidation, coercion, and abuse at the hands of authoritarian cops.

See you at the park! Tell your friends!
