We are still here and Haven't Forgotten -- Justice for Oscar Grant!

On July 24th, at 9am Alameda County Courthouse, killer-cop Johannes Mehserle’s defense attorney is scheduled to argue that murder charges should be DISMISSED, possibly allowing Mehserle to walk free.

Everyone, and all groups fighting for Justice for Oscar should be outside the courthouse that day -- TO DEMAND JUSTICE FOR OSCAR GRANT – and that Mehserle be tried for MURDER. Millions have seen the crime, and we must show the world we will not rest until there is justice for Oscar Grant and all those who continue to be brutalized and murdered at the hands of police.

Just last Wednesday, Oakland cops gunned down Parnell Smith, 36, a Black man, “mistaking” him for a “rape suspect”. Smith, who was unarmed at the time he was killed, was running from the police as they shot him multiple times.

THIS EPIDEMIC OF POLICE MURDER SHOWS - AGAIN -- THAT THE WHOLE DAMN SYSTEM IS GUILTY! As the new statement from the Revolutionary Communist Party says: "This system is bankrupt…This system is rotten to the core…This system is based on ruthless exploitation…This system commits so many monstrous crimes, and causes so much unnecessary suffering. We do not need to be sacrificing even more to "rescue" this system. This system needs to be swept aside…its crimes against humanity stopped cold…its institutions dismantled, and replaced by ones that empower people to build a new society free of exploitation and oppression." ["The Revolution We Need...The Leadership We Have" - read the entire statement and call at]

Fighting for JUSTICE FOR OSCAR GRANT is part of building a revolutionary movement and bringing in a whole different world. People should get with this, including taking up and distributing the new call from the RCP – “The Revolution We Need...The Leadership We Have”

“A whole different world, a much better future, is possible. We have what we need to fight for that world, that future. It’s up to us to get with it and get to the challenge of making this happen."
