“Thirst” documents the environmental and economic impact on communities in Japan, Bolivia, India and the United States when global corporations buy the local water supply. Discussion to follow the film.

The movie will be shown at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 19; $3-5 door donation is requested (work exchanges and sliding scale are available for low-income and students).

A homemade lunch buffet is available at 12:00pm for an $8 donation. At New Valencia Hall, 625 Larkin Street (at Eddy Street), #202, in San Francisco (four blocks north of Civic Center BART and on/near the #19, #31, #38 #47 and #49 Muni bus lines). The hall is wheelchair accessible.
