Thuggery of the firefighters & police at 6/16 Bd of Supes hearing

by $
The thuggery of the expensive firefighters and the police at and before the San Francisco Board of Supervisors June 16, 2009 hearing, encouraged by election frauding current Democratic Mayor Gavin Newsom and former election frauding Democratic Mayor Willie Brown, is good cause to cut their departments' respective budgets drastically and with all deliberate speed.

The firefighters make about $97,000 a year and up plus benefits. See an excellent proposal to reform the fire department by Supervisor John Avalos, dated May 19, 2009, at:
http://www.sfgov.org/site/bdsupvrs_page.asp?id=104590

The police make about $127,000 a year and up plus benefits, and lots of overtime, which is paid time and a half, double time and triple time. See June 15, 2009 Street Sheet, distributed by the homeless so they can have enough food to survive each day and hopefully enough to pay for a room in a slum hotel for a decent night's sleep, so they do not have to receive tickets for sleeping on the sidewalk, issued by the worthless police, who get paid $127,000 a year to issue this ridiculous tickets, and prosecuted by Democratic District Attorney Kamala Harris in traffic court, when such charges should not even be prosecuted, and defended by the Public Defender, all paid for by the taxpayers, whlie we have no money for social services. This must end immediately.

On the firefighters: From
Workers Storm City Hall Over Budget
by Rachel Huysentruyt‚ Jun. 17‚ 2009

"Visitors to Civic Center Plaza around noon yesterday were treated to a bit of social drama, as two public employee unions -- SEIU Local 1021 and IAFF Local 798 -- faced off across Polk Street. At issue was the $82 million that the Board of Supervisors Budget Committee had moved from public safety to health and human services allocations in the City's revised interim budget."

"Firefighters shouted to be let into the Board chambers (although Fire Code regulations prevent overcrowding), while the SEIU coalition had already filled up the room."

"While Stevie Wonder blared from the firefighters’ stereo equipment in the plaza, speakers took the podium on the City Hall steps in defense of the reallocation of funds. SEIU’s Robert Haaland spoke first, calling for a “balanced solution” to the budget deficit, one in which “everyone is equitably sharing in the pain.” [THIS IS WHAT WE CALL A HITLER-TYPE NUREMBERG TERRORIST RALLY, WITH VERY EXPENSIVE SOUND EQUIPMENT; DEMONSTRATING THE FIREFIGHTERS HAVE NO CONCEPT OF POVERTY WHATSOEVER.]

"He then introduced Debbi Lerman from the SF Human Services Network, who rattled off the various types of health and human services that would be reduced or eliminated if the reallocation failed to pass. Included were services directed at children, the aging and the mentally ill; homeless shelters; HIV/AIDS treatment; a $4 million cut to the Department of Public Health’s budget that will reach $8 million when annualized; and those “for whom the bell tolls” – programs that will be cut entirely. These programs included various types of the aforementioned, and comprised many vital community based services. "

"The SEIU rally ended around 1:00 p.m., and participants went into City Hall to line up for the 2:00 p.m. Board meeting. As is always the case when City Hall hearings get crowded, Deputy Sheriffs insisted per Fire Code regulations that no one enter the chambers unless they had a seat. SEIU and its coalition members quietly lined up in the hallway, as they waited for the doors to open."

"The tension escalated, however, after the Firefighters Union ended their rally -- and stormed up the grand staircase into the City Hall rotunda. Facing the closed double doors of the Board chambers, the firefighters shouted “Let us in!! Let us in!!” -- as SEIU members yelled back “Get in line!! Get in line!!” At one point, some SEIU members felt the need to lock arms and stand in front of the Board chambers -- as it appeared like the Firefighters could imminently force themselves into the Board meeting ahead of everyone else."

"At 2:00 p.m., the Sheriffs started escorting members of the public who had lined up into the Board Chambers, as seats became available. The firefighters never got in line, but continued to chant while the Board meeting began inside. President David Chiu had to ask them to be quiet, so the meeting could come to order. Within less than an hour, the firefighters had left -- except one who went inside to give public comment. The Supervisors then held a state-mandated Beilenson Hearing, where they heard testimony on public health cuts."

Here is the American flag festooned thug rally of the police and firefighters, supported by election-frauding Democratic mayor Gavin Newsom and election frauding Democratic former mayor Willie Brown:

The excesses of firefighters is described at:

The only reason 75 year old pro-gambling, pro-real estate lobby, anti-rent control, proud election frauder Democrat Willie Brown is at such a rally is because he is a leader of the Democratic Party machine's ELECTION FRAUD TEAM, and the firefighters and police, especially the police, are his foot soldiers. The horror of the Democratic Party's election fraud was witnessed not only on June 3, 1997, the 49er Stadium Swindle election, when the Democrats' election fraud team turned our 70% No on the Swindle to 50.2% "yes," but also on December 13, 1997, 10 days after the election fraud lawsuit was filed, when Dolores Evans, a pollworker and a witness about to testify on election fraud, and 5 children, were murdered in a mysterious fire in their Housing Authority home in the middle of the night. The fire inspector said they could have escaped but someone stopped them. This is described in the dedication at the beginning on the election fraud website:
http://www.brasscheck.com/stadium/

The hoodlum behavior of the firefighters should encourage the Board of Supervisors to adopt Supervisor Avalos' proposal to streamline the fire department. The expensive salaries of the firefighters and police cannot continue, while the workingclass are LITERALLY DYING OF STARVATION AND DISEASE. We certainly cannot afford to pay for LIMOUSINE SERVICE FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT! There is a proposal to cut 300 police positions from the police department and close a jail. That is a good start. We do not need the whole rotten police department as the cause of crime is not the lack of police but poverty. We need to transfer the entire police budget to all the health and human services departments TODAY.

The June 15, 2009 Street Sheet has an excellent list of Cuts We Would Like to See on p. 3, summarized here with a listing. Please get the Street Sheet for the explanations:

1. Cut: Security Contract With Homeless Shelters
Save: Daytime Access at Shelters

2. Cut: The Community Justice Center
Save: Mission Neighborhood Resource Center

3 Cut: 3 Deputy District Attorneys
Save: Ellis Act Eviction Defense
Note: They have a long article describing how we pay the police $127,000 a year to ticket the homeless who are prosecuted in traffic court by the district attorney, led by Democrat Kamala Harris, for such things as sleeping outside, not a crime by any definition. The moniker for the district attorney's office is "sending poor people to jail." Meanwhile, Democrat Newsom wants to cut the Public Defender's budget, the lawyers who defend the poor.

4. CUT: LIMOUSINE SERVICE FOR ONE FIRE STATION CAPTAIN
Save: Caudceus Outreach Services
TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT: IT IS OUTRAGEOUS THAT WE TAXPAYERS HAVE TO PAY FOR ANY LIMIOUSINE SERVICE FOR ANYONE IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. This must end immediately.

5. Cut: Homeless Outreach Cops
Save: Ozanam Detox Center
