Caravan for Justice III -- Fight for Justice Returns to Sacramento for Third Time, 5/26/09: audio and photos
The Caravan for Justice III traveled to Sacramento on Tuesday, May 26th to continue to pressure state lawmakers to demand changes in laws and policies that disproportionately, unfairly, and negatively effect people of color and the poor in California. Buses and speakers came from Richmond, Vallejo, Oakland, Berkeley, Stockton, Modesto, Bakersfield, Antioch, Pittsburgh, East Palo Alto and San Francisco.

While she now apparently supports AB312, which would impose civilian police review on BART, in 2007 Fiona Ma stood with police unions to prevent any changes to the California Police Bill of Rights that might ensure more public accountability.
Their Preliminary Hearing starts on Monday, June 8th. Supporters are asked to show up at 8am and demonstrate at 850 Bryant Street, San Francisco.
Don't try to take photos inside of that glass room with the metal detectors or you will be asked to delete the photos from your digital camera.
The fourth Caravan is expected to include speakers and buses from as far south as Los Angeles.
