The parks arent going to go away. There are no fences around parks. The government fantasy that they can "close" mother nature takes manpower to enforce. I welcome the savings from the layoffs of all these overpaid government employees, and all their nanny-state enforcement of countless rules. I will continue to enjoy Henry Cowell park, probably even more without these cops and cop-wannabes around. And if you cant get into the parking lot because the government assholes have closed and locked the gate in their absence, cut the lock or park down the street and walk or ride a bike (or just drive carefully over the sidewalk).

Please dont spend valuable effort protesting this opportunity to save money for our valuable social programs which support the under-served! The trees and the sand will do fine on their own for a while.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
