Civil rights violations in US

by Aradhna
I draw your attention to a miscarriage of justice and ongoing civil rights abuses in the US, as described by the international human rights organization Fair Trials International, and ask you to intervene in the case of Anant Tripati who has been imprisoned in Arizona for crimes that he did not commit.

There is now an online petition on my father's case, which you may or may not be familiar with. He has been the victim of gross civil rights violations in the state of Arizona by authorities in Maricopa County. I've signed the petition "Miscarriage of Justice in Arizona: Free Anant Tripati". Would you please consider also signing the petition, and *please* forward this petition on to others?

As described by the international human rights organization Fair Trials International, he has been denied due process and access to legal counsel by Arizona State employees, in contravention of international human rights standards.

I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. If you would like to volunteer to circulate the petition, please contact me.

Many thanks,
Aradhna

Although, I personally am so far to the left, that even the even the democrats appear to me to be "right-wing," I consider myself to be a strict constitutionalist. It is my opinion that since its inception there has been an organized and systematic assault by the conservatives in the United States on the civil liberties written into the US Constitution. The “War on Drugs”; “War on Terror”; “War on Communism” and a host of other wars waged by the right wing are really nothing more than a War on People--an excuse to erode civil rights to the point of non-existence. I invite you to my website devoted to raising awareness on this puritan attack on freedom: http://freethegods.blogspot.com/
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
