Join CODEPINK as we urge Obama to visit Gaza. President Obama, will be in Cairo on June 4. He says bringing peace to the Middle East is a top priority. We think Obama should make a stop in Gaza. Gaza is a tiny strip of land--about the size of Philadelphia. The devastation wrought by the 22-day Israeli invasion is so vast and so tragic. The majority of Gazans are under 18, and many of the youth are traumatized and depressed. Obama should visit Gaza, express his condolences for the loss of so many innocent lives, call for a lifting of the inhumane siege that continues to imprison an entire population, and support an investigation of how U.S. funds to Israel are being spent.
