Nephew of Barbara Boxer Suffers Behind Bars
Nephew of Barbara Boxer arrested and denied medical treatment for nearly 2 months. (note to editor: Urgent matter of life and death! Please display on front page!)

With the elections on the horizon, Senator Barbara Boxer seems to have better things to do than look out for the safety of her own family.
57 days after his incarceration, Noel Gillett, the nephew of Barbara Boxer is still being denied treatment for fibromyalgia and Lou Gehrig's disease. Gillett has been denied the needed antibiotics and medication to stabilize his condition and has had to resort to eating bars of antibacterial soap in order to keep bacteria from attacking his brain stem.
Gillett has also been psychologically and physically abused. He was placed in a cell with a hostile inmate upon arriving at the Santa Rita Jail who proceeded to physically threaten and assault him without any intervention from the guards while he pleaded for help. The violent man was then transferred to another facility and given a lighter sentence.
How can we expect Barbara Boxer to govern the state of California when she continues to neglect her own family?

"The violent man was then transferred to another facility and given a lighter sentence." - it's jail, not prison, people are 'sentenced' there.
Can you provide some background for this story? Why is he in jail? Why should we care about Boxer's nephew?
