"Two bicyclists were arrested Friday for allegedly resisting officers during a "Critical Mass" bike-in in Petaluma, police said.

About 30 bicyclists were blocking traffic near East Washington and Payran streets at 5:30 p.m., police said. Several bicyclists refused to move to the shoulder when contacted by a motorcycle officer, according to police.

Citations were given to five bicyclists for minor traffic violations. Jason Dodge, 41, of Petaluma, and Ian Dalling, 19, of Petaluma, were arrested for allegedly delaying or resisting officer commands.

They were booked at the Petaluma Police Department and issued citations to appear in court, police said."
