BARRY JENNINGS:Hi. My name is Barry Jennings. Ahm. I’m 52 years old. Um, I’ve worked for
for 32 years in one location in the Office of Emergency Management inactivation [sic]. Basically,
that’s it. I’m married. Father of 4.
I was called shortly after the first plane hit. I got there, uh, I had to be inside on the 23rd
floor when the second plane hit.
Uh, man the Office of Emergency Management at the World Trade Center 7. On the 23rd
floor. As I arrived there, police are all in the lobby. They, uh, showed me the way to the elevator.
We got up to the 23rd floor. Me and Mr. Hess who I didn’t know was mr. Hess at the time. We
couldn’t get in. We had to go back down. Then, Security and the police took us to the down on thefreight elevators. When they took us back up, we did get in.
As I told you earlier…
INTERVIEWER: Yes.
Upon arriving into the OEM EOC, we noticed that everybody was gone. I saw coffee thatwas on the desk. Still smoking. Smoke was still coming up from the coffee. I saw half-eaten
sandwiches. And only me and Mr. Hess was up there. Uh, after I called several individuals, oneindividual told me that to “leave! Uh, and to leave right away.”
Then, Hess came running back in. He said: “We gotta get outta of here!”
He found a stairwell. So we we subsequently went to the stairwell. And we were goingdownstairs. When we reached the eighth, uh, the sixth floor, the landing that we were standingon, gave way. There was an explosion. And the landing gave way.
And when, I was left there hanging. I had to climb back up. And I had to walk back up the eighth
floor.
When I made it to the sixth floor [sic], and, and there was an explosion. That’s what forced us
back to the eighth floor. Both buildings were still standing because I looked two, one way and
looked the other way and there’s nothing there.
The explosion was, believe me—keep in mind now it’s pitch black in there. All the lights
went out. So when the explosion happened, it blew us back.
After getting to the eighth floor everything fell.
I’m thinking I’m standing on, on, on the landing and actually holding on the pole aboveus. And I had to climb back up because Hess is yelling: ”Whadda we do now?” I said: “There’sonly one thing to do now and and it’s climb back up.” Hoping the buildings were still standing.
Keep in mind, the fire department came and ran. They came twice! Why? Because
Building Tower 1 fell. Then, Tower 2 fell. And then when they came back, they came back with all
concern to get me the hell outta there. I was trapped in there for several hours. I was trapped in
there when both buildings came down.
All the time, I’m hearing all kinds of explosions. [QUIETLY] All the time, I’m hearingexplosions. I’m thinking it’s
When they finally got to us, and they took us down to what, what they, they, uh, called
the lobby. ‘cause I actually, when we got down there, I said: “Where are we?” He said: “This was
the lobby.” And I said: “You gotta be kidding me!” Total ruins. Totally destroyed. It looked like
2
King Kong had came through and stepped on it.. Now keep in mind when I came in here, thelobby had nice escalators. It’s a huge lobby. And for me to see what I saw, it’s unbelievable.
And the firefighter that took us down, kept saying, “Do not look down!”
And I kept saying, “ Why not look down?” And we were stepping over people.
And you know you can feel when you’re stepping on people.
And I was so destroyed, I didn’t know where I was.
And so they had to take me out through a hole in the wall. A makeshift hole that I believe
the fire department made to get me out.
This big, giant police officer came to me. And he says, “You have to run!” I said: “I can’trun. My knees are swollen.” He said: “Then, you‘ll have to get on your knees and crawl. Because
we have reports of more explosions.” And that’s when I started crawling. And I saw this guy fallbehind me. His comrade came, and they dragged him to safety.
INTERVIEWER: IRS was there?
BARRY JENNINGS: Well, I’m just confused about one thing. And one thing only: Why World
Trade Center 7 went down in the first place. I’m very confused about that. I know what I heard. Iheard explosions. The, the, uh, explanation I got was: It was, uh, the fuel-oil tanks. I’m an old
boiler guy. If it was the fuel-oil tank, it would have been wiped out of the building

especially in the stairwell. He goes back to explain that scene to clarify what happened. He alsosays he was in that building for “several hours,” not the 1.5 in the records. If that’s true, the

It’s almost impossible to believe that theywould let the perpetrators run around setting those fires, as they had to be doing. ]
JASON BERMAS: Hello, everybody out there. I’m Jason Bermas and, uh, I’m about to release an
Infowars and Loose Change.911.com exclusive. Uh, last year, Dylan Avery and myself went togreat lengths to get an interview with Barry Jennings. Uh, this man was a emergency worker. Uh,
head of a department out in New York City. And, uh, on 9/11 he was called up after the firstplane strike, and he went World Trade Center Building 7.
Now, when he went there, he went up with a police triage and Michael Hess.
Now, Michael Hess was the city corporation counsel. And, uh, when they got up to the
Office of Emergency Management—because that’s where they were supposed to go in case of anykind of a terrorist attack or a natural disaster—the Office of Emergency Management was

abandoned. And Barry said that he saw, y’know, still hot coffee, half-eaten sandwiches. Didn’t

abandoned. And Barry said that he saw, y’know, still hot coffee, half-eaten sandwiches. Didn’t
know what was going on.
When Michael Hess and Barry actually went to exit, they had to take the stairwell. Andwhile they were down by the eighth floor—uh, between sixth and eighth floor—they had an
explosion from underneath them. Were trapped up for the rest of the afternoon. And this was all
prior to either of the towers collapsing.
Now, Michael Hess and Barry Jennings went on a local news that day and confirmed thestory. And we’re going to play the whole thing now.
Why, why are we choosing now? In the beginning when we got this interview, we weregoing to put it in the Loose Change: Final Cut. We were then contacted by Barry after some of it hadbeen played. And it started to make its rounds on the Internet. And he was upset and he didn’twant any, uh, the movie, because he was getting phone calls and threats. And he didn’t want tolose his job. And people essentially were angry with him. He didn’t want all this attention.
Now, he’s given an interview to the BBC. And on July 6 [2003], they are going to present
Conspiracy Files: The Third Tower. Uh, if you look at the last piece they did, The 9/11 Conspiracy Files,
they tried to say ludicrous things like the debris field of Shanksville, Pennsylvania was only onemile away at Indian Lake when we had reports that there was debris eight miles away over a
mountain ridge in New Baltimore. But they didn’t mention that. We figured that this, uh, this new
show comes out July 6th. And we want Barry Jennings’, uh, words of a year ago to speak for
themselves. So previewing, uh, my new film, Fabled Enemies—because this will be in Fabled
Enemies— we are going to release some [sic] of the Barry Jennings interview.
BARRY JENNINGS: My name is Barry Jennings. I’m 52 years old. Um, I’ve worked for for 32

prior to the collapse of either world trade center tower. Explosions after the fact. The lobby
completely decimated. And that’s a big point because we’re gonna to show you video inside the
Millennium Hilton. And show you that, uh, there was slight damage the next day. It was nothing

were in the building. So again, this will be in my new film Fabled Enemies. And, uh, you can checkthat out. It’s, uh, going to be released by September first, we’re looking at right now. Thanks forjoining us, Infowars.com and Prisonplanet.com.

[This version of Jennings’ statement is off a myspace.com website. It also granted Jenningsanonymity because the Title is “Interview With WTC 7 Survivor.” Compare this statement’spresentation with that of Bermas by putting the scripts side by side. In this one, the “steppingover people” part of it was cut. But in the YouTube footage used by Jason Bermas/Avery, theycut out the “King Kong” portion. But Bermas/Avery also cut out the arrival part, where
Jennings/Hess are taken up on a freight elevator, can’t get in, then are taken down and back up
again. Neither does it contain the “giant” cop who said there were reports of explosions andforced him to crawl. But it does include the hole in the wall by which Jennings emerged ontothe street. You’ll notice in the first video that Jennings’ focus is totally on himself and Hess is a
minor, frightened character. Which explains why he believes was made just for him by the
firefighters. I’m wondering what about the chap he said who fell behind him and whose
comrade hauled him to safety. Or what about Hess????? Jennings also says “makeshift,” please
note. My guess is that the hole was made by those basement explosions in WTC 7. ]
BARRY JENNINGS: We went down to the eighth floor. Big explosion. Blew us back to the eighth

Blew us back to the eighth
floor.
Uh, man the Office of Emergency Management at the World Trade Center 7. On the 23rd
floor. As I arrived there, police are all in the lobby. They, uh, showed me the way to the elevator.
We got up to the 23rd floor. We couldn’t get in. We had to go back down. Then, Security and the
5
police took us to the down on the freight elevators. When they took us back up, we did get in.
They took us back up. We did get in.
police took us to the down on the freight elevators. When they took us back up, we did get in.
They took us back up. We did get in.
On arriving, in, into the OEC, we noticed that everybody was gone. I saw coffee that was
on the desk. Still, smoke, smoke was still coming off the coffee. I saw half-eaten sandwiches. And I
called several individuals. One individual told that, uh, to leave and leave right away. Then, Hesscame running back in. He said: “We gotta get out of here!” He found a stairwell. So we
subsequently found the stairwell and we’re going downstairs. When we reached the eighth, uh,
the sixth floor, the landing that we were standing on gave way. There was an explosion and thelanding gave way. I was left there hanging, and I had to walk back up to the eighth floor. As I told
you earlier…
INTERVIEWER: Yes.
BARRY JENNINGS: Both buildings were still standing because I looked two, one way andlooked the other way and there’s nothing there.
When I got to the sixth floor, there was an explosion. That’s what forced us back to theeighth floor. Both buildings were still standing. After getting to the eighth floor everything fell.
INTERVIEWER: IRS was there?
BARRY JENNINGS: Well, I’m just confused about one thing. And one thing only: Why WorldTrade Center 7 went down in the first place. I’m very confused about that. I know what I heard. Iheard explosions. The, the, uh, explanation I got was: It was, uh, the fuel-oil tank. I’m an old boiler
guy. If it was the fuel-oil tank, it would have been wiped out of the building.
When I got to that lobby, the lobby was totally destroyed. It looked like King Kong hadcame through and stepped on it. And I was so destroyed, I didn’t know where I was. And so theyhad to take me out through a hole in the wall. A makeshift hole that I believe the fire departmentmade to get me out.
As I told you before,
They they always included our locale and what we did, what they did was, they actually
coordinated the emergency management in several agencies.
