PENINSULA CHAPTER -- Meet the Press: Perspectives and Innovations in International Journal

With globalization there is an increased need and responsibility to understand the perspectives of diverse cultures and regional challenges. Communication technology improvements have facilitated bringing the stories and news from geographically dispersed locations to us. Knight Fellows Journalists at Stanford University, Isra' al Rubei'I, Dionne Bunsha, Pedro Doria, and Burt Herman, will describe the situations in four regions that are experiencing political, humanitarian, and economic difficulties and even violent conflicts at this FREE event. They will also discuss the real world possibilities afforded by innovations in digital technologies.
