We need as many people as possible to show up to the preliminary hearing. the District Attorney needs to see all of the support that Aaron is receiving. Aaron also needs to see the support and know that he isn't alone in this.
Aaron was arrested on 2/8/09 for allegedly killing Darrell McNeill. Darrell sexually and psychologically abused Aaron and other members of the small community of Fort Bragg, California for decades.
Aaron is a caring, intelligent, selfless person, as well as a loving father. He was traumatized in a way that most can't even imagine. He needs to be rehabilitated and helped to get through this trauma, not taken away from his new baby and put in a jail cell to endure more suffering. I believe that when the truth is told, Aaron will be found innocent.
Aaron and his family thank everyone for their support. I especially thank the other victims that have shown tremendous strength by coming forward and telling their stories.
We can help save other communities from disasters of this degree if we work together to protect our children. We need more education, awareness, and resources. There should be no statute of limitations on these cases, but there should be much harsher punishment for the abusers.
The predators most powerful weapon is the silencing of his victims. We must end the silence.
