Incarceration - in the United States is a TRILLION dollar business and SCAR on the face of humanity. The United States incarcerates the largest population in the world. In California we spend more money on jails then schools. Billions of dollars to incarcerate - many innocent victims - that have fallen PREY - to the THREE STRIKES LAW - that is faker then fake. Time to rise up , raise your voices, and take on those that have been riding on a wave of destruction and evil - with no end in sight. Thousands of mothers, wives, children, relatives, friends - weep daily. Time to ACT - now.
Incarceration - is a TRILLION dollar business.
Once there were the Slave Plantations - nothing much has changed in the United States of America - more human beings are jailed in the United States - then in any part of the world.
The paradox is that if you are Black, a person of color - and you get little or no qualified representation - the result - incarceration is the first step to total destruction.
Over the years - thousands of decent lives - have been lost to incarceration and Society is the poorer for such sordid acts of neglect and condoning.
Do not for a slightest moment think - that going to the present jail system - can rehabilitate a person. Not in the present form - and for sure not when - there is over crowding and tensions are very, very high.
Far from that - a woman or man goes in - and comes out a harden criminal.
What is more - traumatized many will bear a scar - that will affect all those near this person and those far away - depending on the circumstances. That is why more go in - sooner then one thinks - and cannot face normal life - because daily they have to deal with a "ghost" that has taken over their lives.
Many find it impossible to function in Society. Jails do not rehabilitate but destroy lives. Those that aid and abet the Jail System - the many Parole Officers that are a disgrace to society and must be - regulated. The Parole System changed and those that misuse their positions - fined and jailed in proportion to the act of their misuse of - power,
California's Three Strikes Law - must be changed.
It must be changed as soon as possible. The authors of the Three Strikes Law must be taken to court - and jailed an fined for the tremendous amount of damage - the have done to Society.
Stupid judges that think a corrupt law - can make good things happen - must be taken to task.
The present Court System in California is primitive - and many California laws - detrimental to Health and Safety of the prisoners and their families. More to Society at large.
Parole Boards that think they are gods - must have a brain transplant.If these Parole Officers and Board - think they can make or break a woman or man - in the very corrupt - jail system - that is as primitive as primitive can be - they must think - again.
There is no civility when it comes with the Correctional Officers that are very corrupt. One must visit their web sites. Many of them will die a dog death - especially those that hide behind their guns and fake power. Those that have shot and killed prisoners - just for the sake of taking revenge or showing their power.
Correctional Officers in California - must be regulated in how they operate and their Standard Operating Procedures - investigate and drastically - changed.
It must be made mandatory for all Correctional Officer every 5 years and in the beginning of their careers to spend a day or two in jail - with the inmates. This reality check - will bring sense to those that think - that the life of an inmate - is worthless.
Put some respect into the System.
Powerful organizations and institutions have made the Prison System and the Incarceration Methods in the United States into a Trillion Dollar Business.
It is as good as saying the present Prison System is a modern day - Plantation.
The same institutions and corrupt individuals that manage Wall Street, have their finger in the unregulated Insurance Companies - the likes of Goldman Sacks, AIG, Lehman Brothers - and are tied to the Jail Complex and the Trillions of dollars - it generates.
Much the same as the Insurance Companies of old - that had their sticky fingers in the Slave Trade.
Once - Plantations permitted the rich - mostly Whites - to incarcerated and own human beings - and we know them as SLAVES.
Today, nothing much has changed - once incarcerated - the present jail system has not kept up with CIVILITY. In fact in jails all over the United States - inmates both women and men are treated like - dirt.
It would be a folly to say they are treated like animals - because we have more laws that protect animals - that are enforced - then human beings. Now, that may sound harsh - but ask the mother, wife, sister, brother, relative, and friends - and you will find out the TRUTH.
Please do not for a moment think that I am naive and would want hardened criminals and perverts that have been caught molesting children and serial killers on the streets of any community that is law abiding. These folks need incarceration because they have turned their backs on society.
I am talking of the millions that committed some crime that does not warrant - long jail sentences.
In California the Three Strikes Law has permitted thousands of innocent women and men to be sent to jail. The second and third strike - could be added just for stealing anything worth $5 or less - and then one could add assault on another person, an officer - anything that gives some vain power - to those that are on a "power trip" - to keep a person in jail for years - some fifteen, some twenty five and others longer.
Our judicial systems stinks to high heaven - and judges today are prone to follow the law that is in itself - full of loop holes, does not have any bearing with the times - and most of all is not fair and just. So it Justice blind? If so - it must be given some good - sight!
The exploitation of thousands of prisoners in California and millions in the United States - has been seen as a SCAR against humanity. Some jails in places like New Orleans - are so primitive that it is a disgrace to the human race - that they even exist.
In some jails in California the prisoners - especially those that can think for themselves and will not compromise their "dignity" - are on purpose subjected to conditions that are against the law.
Locked down they are kept in isolation - and traumatized and psychologically adversely impacted for life. These women and men - can no longer function normally in Society - and some of us in the know - have spoken about it - but little has been written about the conditions and state of affairs. More about the evil does that perpetuate such crimes daily.
Daily the majority of Correctional Officers - abuse the law - while pretending to the world that the maintain law and order and do their job.
Women and men are raped in jails - on a daily basis - and most of these victims have no recourse to any judicial systems.
Others tortured while the United Sates pretends that we must abide by the Geneva Accords and the Human Rights Bill that the United Nations brags about - but has little if no clout to - enforce in the United States - itself.
Judges know better but they will look the other way.
Most judges are trained to look at prisoners and those that come before them - as "dirt" - this may sound harsh to the reader - but, the only way you can judge this statement - is by going to court and watching the proceedings.
Judges will blame anyone - the backlog, pressure, lack of support - anything but themselves and their crude and rude mannerisms of sort. If you find a good judge - it is a rare treat - and I have not seen one in a long - long time.
Then - if you have the guts to visit the jails and courts incognito - not one of two but a couple in California and out of State - and find out for yourself - how very corrupt the judicial system is - and further - the jails, that pride themselves that they do a good job - when that statement could not be further from the TRUTH.
Now, is the time to send a SALVO and sound the alarm.
This is a CLARION call that is going to the citizens of California and the Unites States. We the people must take charge of our destiny.
The corrupt politicians, the Governors, the Judges, the Courts, the Prison System, the Correctional Officers and the Prison Unions, the many organization that go with the flow and harm innocent prisoners - must be held Accountable and there must be Transparency.
For sure there must be JUSTICE - but where can we really find it?
Human beings are not like animals - but Incarceration in California and the present Jail System - treats the majority of human beings like "dirt" or crap or worse.
Change cannot come if we stand on the side - and do nothing.
Many of us talk the talk but cannot walk the walk.
Others will KILL their fellow brothers and sisters - over some drab - color scheme.
Others over - some turf that is mostly Government Property and does not belong to them. They have no clue about jurisdiction. More in Public Housing that ware house - poor people and give them - no opportunitites.
Others over drugs whose greater profits go to mostly those that live far away and in affluent communities. The ones on the street cannot think beyond their noses. A few kilos mean a lot to them - but they are puppets in the hands of those that make millions every day - on their backs and dubious dealings of sorts.
Many are caught up in the moment and in habits that have been perpetuated by the ENEMY for generations. Crack cocaine was not introduced in some communities by good people.
The mind altering pills of today - have been planted by those that want - thousands removed to make room for others. It is all about LAND - and at the bottom of the PIT - the First People of the land the had for thousands of years.
You can only be proud of any turf you own - one that you can possess and do as you please and sell when you are - fed up with it.
There is true freedom and there is license. Many stupid folks - perpetuate license - which is the abuse of FREEDOM - and bring shame on others - because of their "foolishness".
Crime does not pay - ask the ones that once hand millions and today have - nothing.
Hard work and dignity pays.
You are a man when you love and care for your family. And if you have none - care for other human beings - as a decent human being.
You are a genuine woman when you behave like a queen - and bring dignity to any occasion.
Nurture the child - and behind every great man there is a greater woman - or so they say.
Taking another life for reasons that are trivial or minor - is not becoming of a genuine person that respect life and values humanity.
Human being have intelligence and values. We must have a heart. Control our impulses - and especially our anger. A brute that goes on a rampage - is one that brings disgrace on other human beings and values that demand - decency.
If you kill you must pay - if you do harm - you must know that you must be responsible.
Some fools - make it difficult for others - they do not not want to respect - these fools of their own accord side with the Correctional Officers and their world - they do more harm to those that want to save and protect - many innocent women and men that have been incarcerated - unjustly.
